Acouple months ago I had a great idea. Every day we are constantly bombarded by propaganda and for the most part none of it is doing any real good. Propaganda is defined as ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause. The definition of the word itself is full of negativity. We are told what to consume, how to think, who to fear, and who to believe. An endless list of things. Almost anything the news media reports is straight up propaganda past the local news level. Stories that have absolutely nothing to do with our lives are sensationalized and piped into our homes via tv and the net to the point where we feel these things are important. Something NEGATIVE is being forced upon you at any given moment by the propaganda machine. I think we've had enough. What the world needs right now is propaganda that spreads peaceful ideas. The challenge is to remove the negativity.
I call my idea PROPADHAMMA. Propadhamma is an amalgam of the word "propaganda" and the ancient Pali word for TRUTH, Dhamma. Propadhamma, by my definition; is an instrument of peace spread deliberately to inspire, enlighten, and benefit all human beings. That is the compassionate mission of this site.
